To measure all the cubes I used a dial caliper to get the most correct size for all 27 cubes. The reason for measuring all of the cubes was to make sure the pieces would fit together when solving the puzzle cube.
Acceptable range is when you subtract the standard deviation three times from the mean and add it three times to the mean. This shows if the cubes will fit together properly.
I drew 20 brainstorming isometric sketches to get lots of ideas on what the possible puzzle cube pieces could look like. I drew 20 of the sketches because the more options to chose from would make it easier when it came time to making the cube.

If I were to change something in my cube design I would not change anything because I felt like my puzzle cube was difficult but not impossible to solve. The times for solving my puzzle cube reflect the difficulty of solving it. I was targeting a older age group to solve my puzzle cube so one thing I could have changed was to target a younger age group and make it easier to solve.
